This month has flown by in a whirlwind! First of all, we took a trip down to So Cal for Vero's wedding. Yay! We are soooo happy for her! She totally deserves this and it turned out really nice.
Melia was the flower girl and she had so much fun! She was totally enchanted by Vero in the pretty white dress and didn't want to leave her side for the whole reception. In usual Melia wedding style, we had to pull her away from the bride so they could cut the cake, have their first dance, etc. Here she is at Vero's side while the happy couple are giving their thank you speech to all of their guests.
It was really fun seeing lots of our old friends and we took advantage of one of our rare opportunities to dance, dance, dance! Melia hung in their with us until really late in the evening for her and managed to get practically everyone there to dance with her (whether she knew them or not.)
The dollar dance was really the first time I got to meet Vero's now husband, Peter. That was really weird since Vero is one of my closest friends, but he's from Utah and it just never worked out that we were in So Cal visiting at the same time. Anyway, I got a really good feeling from him and he seems to really love Vero, so he has my stamp of approval. :)
The next day was Caleb and Palmyra's new baby, Jake's, blessing day in church. They are in the ward that Bo and I were in when we first got married, so it was fun to go back and see lots of familiar faces. :) Caleb gave Jake his blessing and it was really sweet. Overall, it was a really fun trip and we loved seeing my mom and Bo's family and spending time with them. God really blessed us on the drive there and back and helped the girls do so well. 10 hour car rides with a 4 year old and 1 year old could be really bad, but ours turned out great. :)
